OUR QUALITY POLICY
Since it has been established, AGTC Ltd. has looked to keep its place around the major companiesin this sector. The main principles of our quality policy are as follows:
- To determine and provide completely the requirements of our customers and their staff.
- To keep up with the latest developments.
- To support our suppliers and assist in market development.
- To connuously develop the quality system by auding and training.
- To prevent unnecessary costs and give value for money.
- To protect the environment.
- To have an organizaon that is learning and connuously developing.
FIELDS OF ACTIVITIES
AGTC gives design, construcion, erecion, commissioning, maintenance and consuling services onthe topics listed below:
- Water and waste treatment plants
- Garbage and solid wastewater plants
- Manufacturing of treatment equipment
- Compact treatment plants
- Construcion of iindustrial and social plants
- Infrastructure buildings
- The protecon technologies of environment
POTABLE WATER TREATMENT
A potable water supply is one which is drinkable.Potable water must
- be free of pathogens (disease causing organisms)
- have a desirable
- Taste
- Odour (smell)
- Colour and
- Turbidity (cloudiness) and
- contain no harmful chemicals.
Natural water from a river, lake or borehole usually has to be treated to make it potable.
Water purificaion soluons for industrial, pharmaceuical, oil and gas, military, and food and beverage enterprises, municipal water networkAGTC can design the system to fit any requirement to include and uilize the appropriate method to reach the EU'sdrinking water standards Council Direcive 83/98/EC on the quality of water intended for human consumpion, byuilizing the appropriate method as required by the use of Muli Media Filters, Water soieners, Carbon Filters,Ultra Filtraion, RO & EDI Filtraion, Reverse Osmosis, Vapor Compression, Pure steam generators and storage anddistribuion network systems.
WASTEWATER TREATMENT
A sewage treatment plant cleans and removes contaminants from domesic sewage, using a combinaion of physical, chemical and biological processes. The development and implementaion of environmentally friendly soluions is veryimportant. We are able to provide an unrivalled combinaion of capabiliies for the treatment of sludge.
PHYSICAL & BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT
Chemical stabilization - stabilization and sanitization
Thickening - is the first step in sludge treatment. It concentrates the raw sludge either primary, biological or chemical. At the outlet, sludge remains in a liquid phase meaning that it can be pumped (usually by a positive displacement pump) but not be handled by shovel.
Dewatering - is a stage in sludge treatment where sludge changes from a liquid pumpable state to, at least, a shovellable consistency, which means it may have a plastic texture or even a solid texture.
BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT
Pasteurization - is a method used to kill pathogens from sludge. It is a thermophilic aerobic reactor that is maintained at 70 C° by a hot water jacket around the reactor. The sludge remains at this high temperature in the reactor for a period of time. This enables to run faster the following fermentation step (anaerobic digestion).
Thermal hydrolysis - is the process where waste or sludge is boiled under high pressure and high temperature, between 160-180 degrees. Thermal Hydrolisis enables the production of stabilized, sanitized, odor-free sludge that can easily be recovered through agricultural use. The biogas produced by the anaerobic digestion can be used for generation of steam used for the thermal hydrolysis. The excess can be recovered, for example for generation of electricity or building heating.
Digestion - The breaking down of sludge and other waste biologically by microorganisms. Results in by products such as methane gas, carbon dioxide, sludge solids and water. Aerobic digestion requires oxygen, anaerobic digestion is in the absence of oxygen.Anaerobic Digestion is a stabilization process which allows to reduce the dry content and decompose the organic matters (volatile solids). Methane-gas, a valuable by-product, is produced.
Incineration - Total - or almost - mineralization of the sludge through the use of oxygen - from air or pure - at high temperature (>850degC) and in gaseous phase. The incineration of waste water plant sludge uses a furnace and its auxiliaries (injection of waste and make-up fuels, fluidization air blower), a combustion air reheating stage, and a flue gas cooling stage (with possibly energy recovery) compatible with the treatment of flue gases downstream
Odour Control although intended to help protect the environment, pumping, water purificaion and sludge treatmentstaions can themselves be a source of visual, auditory or olfactory polluion, paricularly when they are located intowns, residenial areas or tourist desinaions.AGTC helps municipal clients respond to odour concerns and control wastewater odours at and around treatment plants.

CHEMICAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT
In general the best strategy to clean highly contaminated and toxic industrial wastewater is to treatIn general the best strategy to clean highly contaminated and toxic industrial wastewater is to treatat source and somemes by applying onsite treatment within the producon lines when recyclingtreated effluent. Many plants in the chemicals manufacturing industry are turning to water efficiencyiniaves aimed at recycling water from wastestreams for reuse in plant processes to helpmigate water scarcity related risks. Extendingthe water reuse concept further, anotherimportant trend in the chemical industry is theincreasing adopon of zero liquid discharge.Plants are replacing their tradional systemswith integrated treatment technologies includingOrganic Destrucon Cell (ODC) systems to treat, recycle, and reuse every drop of wastewater. The ODC combines the advantages of adsorponand oxidaon within a single unit reducingfootprint and CAPEX. It is designed to reduce recalcitrant Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) andremove problem pollutants as well as colour.
REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEMS
The Reversed Osmosis (RO) process uses a semi-permeable membrane to separate and removedissolved solids, organics, pyrogens, submicron colloidal maier, viruses, and bacteria from water. The process is called' reverse' osmosis since it requires pressure higher than the osmoic pressureof the soluion, to force pure water across a membrane, leaving the impuriies behind.
WATER SOFTENING
The removal of calcium and magnesium from water to reduce hardness
TREATMENT EQUIPMENT SUPPLY
AGTC can provide all required equipment and supplies through its network of associates at highlycompetitive prices.
